LV&D Is Run By Steve
Steve’s love of nature started early; he grew up in rural Massachusetts, surrounded by nature, camping every weekend. His deep interest in architecture did too; his mother, a real estate broker, often took him along to see high-end houses, which he would later sit on his living room floor and draw. This led Steve into the construction industry where he developed a niche trade of building storm resistant, energy efficient buildings. This trade allowed Steve to work all over the country, from Massachusetts to Vermont, Arizona to California, finally landing in Texas.
Steve’s love of nature started early; he grew up in rural Massachusetts, surrounded by nature, camping every weekend. Starting in his 20s, Steve also worked as a career firefighter/paramedic for nearly a decade, which instilled in him the values of teamwork, attention to detail, integrity, honor, and follow-through. Today, Steve applies these values in his work every day both in Lago Vista and in his other venture, Strong Wall Builders, where he continues to build elegant, energy-efficient, disaster-proof forever homes. In his free time, Steve enjoys hiking with his wife and dog, traveling, and learning about different styles of landscape design and architecture around the world.
